Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres uses direct vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to help visibly reduce signs of aging by brightening and balancing uneven skin tone. This water-free formula provides 23% pure L-Ascorbic Acid which remains completely stable due to the absence of water. What’s more? This water-free formula is supported with spheres of hyaluronic acid for added hydration. Note: The slightly granular texture of this product is due to the vitamin C powder being suspended in an oil-like base and therefore each application requires a few seconds to feel absorbed by the skin. If desired, this formula can be diluted in a cream base per application to allow the skin to build tolerance over time.
Note: In its pure form, vitamin C is unstable in water. Ascorbyl Glucoside is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C. It is much more stable in water but it is less potent than direct L-Ascorbic Acid.

Works great, just be sure to apply a good moisturizer after.

very strong

This was very strong and stung my skin, even with cutting with a lotion or moisturizer. It has been a few weeks and it still stings my skin after applying. I may switch back to the brand of Vitamin C I had used previously.

Game changer if you use it right

absolutely amazing product, and if you use it right, it is a game changer. It has a gittery sandy texture, but I use it by warm-up with your fingertips before applying after your regular serum/retinol. it can be itchy right after application and then top up with a good moisturizer, no more itching. It is really working for me and even dries up my new acne and fades the marks.

Horrible

This is the second time I've used this vitamin, but today I got the jar and I feel the cream grainy (something that didn't happen with the previous jar). I applied it and my skin started to itch a lot. I'm going to throw it away.

Awful

Very disappointed. It feels grainy and after using it twice, I will likely throw it out. I much prefer the Sephora brand Vitamin C oil.

Grainy

This product made my skin feel oily and the texture itself was grainy.

Have to know how to use it but it is a good produc

THis is gritty but that is because of the Vit C in it and it dissolves as you rub it in. But be aware it it is a strong Vit C and probably for most needs to be diluted in another moisturizer. It is a cost effect way to use Vit C and I have used this over time for years along with the Vit C power that this company used to make but sadly doesn't seem to offer anymore.

Use at night by itself

I actually really like this, it brightens and reduces dark spots. I have dry sensitive skin and i use it once a week at night (overnight) by itself. It stings a little for about 10 minutes and then that goes away. I would never use it during the day or under makeup, it’s oily and gritty but in a good way

Not silicone free

Dimethyl Silica is a silicone obviously. Don't know how they are getting away with saying it's silicone free.

Good vitamin C

Loving it! It has a sandy texture like many say but you just mix it with your moisturizer and you don’t even notice it. And a little goes a long way, I only use a little drop more than that it’s too intense and makes my skin red. Will definitely but again, good and affordable!

Used to be good

This used to be an amazing vitamin c cream. But it’s just trash now that they have been bought out by Este Lauder.

Not For Me

Not a fan of this product at all. People have written about it pilling, having a gritty texture, very oily and unpleasant smell. I haven't experienced any of these with the exception of the oiliness. The gritty texture comes from the powdered vitamin C, so it is expected. BUT, because it is oily you have to apply after all your water based serums or they won't be absorbed by the skin. The oil in this product creates a barrier. That being said, I put my other serums on first, let them absorb for five minutes or so then apply this product before my night cream. Because it's so oily I don't know if any of the ingredients in my night cream are absorbed. The Ordinary had a L-ascorbic acid powder which they seem to have discontinued. It worked great. This one, give it a pass.
