Must Have!
I have been using this moisturizer for nearly 15 years! I’ve tried other popular brands from samples, but have always come back to this one. I have sensitive dry skin, but this has done the trick for years. I am nearly 40, and my skin looks better than it did in my 20’s. Sinks in so well, leaves my face feeling soft and creates a perfect base for cream makeup.

She keep me moist!
In all honesty, I love this product. I have fairly dry skin where spots are dryer than others. This being mostly around my nostrils and my eyes depending on the weather. I put this on at night before bed (when I used to use aquaphor on problem spots) and my face still feels moisturized in the morning (window open, fan on, heavy sleeping). I can start my day with some sunscreen and concealer on top and off I go! No complaints and will be buying again.

Moisturizing
Clinique is a go-to for those extra sensitive. This one is no exception. Though I agree the smell is slightly medicinal, it is not thick whatsoever but more velvety and absorbs well. This is after double cleansing and exfoliating. Great absorption for a sensitive and dry girlie! absorbed and

the product felt good on my face initially but the next morning I had woken up with hives. it is the only thing I changed in my skin care and I don't have sensitive skin so reactions are rare.

personal savior & mortal enemy. Bad in dry climate
Don’t let the stars dissuade you — I genuinely love this product. But this is a “mixed bag” review. I’m going to start out with something positive. This was my mom’s holy grail for years. She used it every day from 30-67 years old, along with other Clinique products. She initially started using Clinique to treat her adult acne. Despite frying herself in the sun as a child, at 75 she looks 60, at most. And she puts it all down to Clinique, and DDML in particular. So, starting off there: it’s a tried and true product that gets major devotees. I used it growing up to counter my acne-treatment causes dryness, too. At first only used it at night cos it made me look and feel greasy. That’s still an issue today. But it DID fix my tret dryness, so it has a lot of love from 15-20 year old me. (I’m 34 now.) It never felt greasy on my mom, but her skin is much dryer than mine and soaks up product like a sponge. When I got older and started using foundation (bare minerals powder, hello fellow 90s kids) it was AMAZING. The powder fixed the greasy part and it sat great on my skin. Now for the mixed bag part. First, liquid foundations. They hate this stuff. It’s hell getting it to blend. It’s made every liquid foundation I’ve tried pill like crazy. It only plays well with mattifying mineral sunscreens. The other thing: this is NOT suitable for dry climates!!! I cannot say this enough. It uses oils and hyaluronic acid — great in humid places. But if it’s even moderately dry, this will suck you even dryer, because there’s no water in the air to suck! It is a moisture vampire. Spritzing your face with water before and after helps some, but not a lot. If you’re in a dry climate, I recommend the moisture surge line. Both my mother and I switched when she moved to the desert. The aloe gives the HA enough water to work with for moderately dry places. On really dry summer or cold dry winter days, I also spritz with water with it.

Definitely a must-have
I have used 3 sample tubes of this and i finally decided to just buy the big one, it is the only moisturizer that keeps my face moisturized and smooth all day even at school and in the winter. It does have a bit of a funky smell, but it's fine if you get used to it.

3-Step Skin Care System - Step 3 : Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+
Outdated Formula
Does not hydrate well and the seal is too greasy. I honestly hated it. It’s just good for the body instead.
