Base Tape Hydrating Primer

Amazing especially under full full coverage

Nars soft matte is my holy grail and this is the best primer I’ve ever used under it. I also LOVE the coconut smell but if you’re sensitive to fragrance I would pass on this one. I also like that the mini is exactly half the size of the full size bottle, not just a small fraction. If you’re sensitive to wear full coverage foundations this is chefs kiss perfect.

Excellent with NARS matte foundation

I don't usually write reviews, but I am going to do so as I was really impressed with this product for the price point. This really helps get a nice smooth and seamless base that is actually compatible with Nars Matte foundation. I struggle to find primers that are compatible with this foundation. So for you Nars girls - check it out. In the past I've used the Guerlain meteorites and Hourglass Veil primers, and they do a decent job, but this one is absolutely comparable in its ability on my skin to those others, and for half the price! I have combination skin.

I just finished a bottle! It’s really hydrating and I love it since I get dry patches on my skin when I do my make up by this product really helps avoiding that! 🤌🏼

I have been using this product for years! I tried the Tatcha one and instantly regretted it because it didn’t give me that perfect prepped skin like this does. This gives so much hydration and your skin feels so nice and makes the makeup application process even better. 10/10 would recommend !!!

The primer has a lightweight and non oily consistency but I have a lot of acne and textured skin and after a few hours (by lunchtime on an office day) my makeup had moved around and left my skin looking dry and patchy

I recently tried the Base Tape Hydrating Primer, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. This primer is a game-changer for my makeup routine. I love how the Base Tape Primer adds a boost of hydration to my skin, making it perfect for those with dry or combination skin types. Additionally, a little goes a long way with this product, making the bottle last longer than I anticipated.

Works okay. I find that after a few hours, a lot of my makeup has moved around/skin and texture underneath is visible. I also found that after using this for a few consecutive days, I felt like there was build up on my skin due to this product (clogged pores) and I really needed to exfoliate. Also, the packaging is sort of cheap and the label scratched off a week after buying.

Can't get enough!

Returned the MILK hydrogrip primer and replaced it with this. No regrets! This is so hydrating, has a mild-to-no scent, and grips makeup at a decent rate.
