Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care and Glow Foundation

Just LOVE it!

I bought this foundation a couple of weeks ago as I was using the Teint Idole Ultra Wear, which was lovely but something was missing! I then ordered this, in the same colour, which in my case is 220C and I absolutely LOVE it! It goes on beautifully (I use a flat and dense Kabuki brush), looks utterly flawless and lasts all day. I just couldn’t ask for, or get more from my foundation. Please please please, now that after 30+ years I’ve found my holy grail, do not discontinue as I will be distraught!

I dont like it

Im so dissapointed this foundation should be glow but its matte and so thick and not easy to blend in skin , i dont like it at all and the color is light for me i buy 125 w because 225 it was dark so thats why i take 125

Game changer

I bought this foundation after seeing such great reviews.I must admit i was a bit scepticle of the colour match scan but it was a perfect match ! One pump I find is enough for a light everyday/work coverage but buildable to a full coverage if needed .

Sorry, I hate it-creates flaws that aren't there!

Sorry this is going to be a long one... I've been buying Lancome Teint Idole for about 15 years, it was the first foundation I ever bought and despite alternating between the ultra wear and the "nude" it was my go to product. Always got compliments when I wore it and recommended it to friends. When I was told the formula had changed I didn't really think much of it. I was colour matched, no issues there other than the recommended new code not being the right one for me. And bought the 120N care and glow instead of my old 005. Then the problems started and admittedly I was far too slow in linking it back to my foundation. I started noticing that either as soon as I put the foundation on (or a few hours later if I was lucky) my face would start looking oily in places, pores would look huge and certain places would look as if they were flaking. I'd been trying some new products to manage breakouts and thought that was impacting the foundation. So I tried everything, new cleansers, primers, moisturisers, brushes, sponges etc... nothing. At this point I was genuinely getting quite worried about the underlying health of my skin... silly me in reflection. It was only when I wanted a small travel pot to take for a weekend and ended up digging out a sample of my old 005 that I realised... you guessed it, as soon as I put that on my skin was flawless. When I went into my local store looking for a sample of the other teint idole (naively hoping it was only the care and glow that didn't work for me) I was horrified to learn that did it too. As did the YSL sample the lady behind the counter gave me to try after I explained. Looks like all L'Oreal foundations might be out for me... As I say this has been my go to for years and I'm clearly going to have to start from scratch now... I'd be grateful if someone could let me know when they change formulas again in the hope that they fix it but until then I really don't see how they can market this as "perfect for every skin type" and it most definitely is not an improvement!

Glowing flawless skin

Hi my partner bought me this foundation the Lancôme glow, it looks amazing on me, the lady in the shop put this on for me, we found the perfect shade for me. I would definitely advise getting to know your perfect shade, it makes a massive difference and allows this beautiful foundation to do its Job. I’m 57 and I’m so happy with this product, it’s given me a glow and healthy look to my skin.

This is so glowy and perfect finish foundation i really enjoyed using it I really hope it will keep me happy.

Contains common skin allergens

I was excited to try this foundation but after a use I saw on the box that the formula contains common skin allergens that many of the major make up houses and more modern brands have abandoned, namely: linalool, geraniol, limonene, citronellol. These are fairly common allergens that irritate the skin of many and come from essential oils. Disappointed that Lancome would include these in a new formula when so many are now ingredient aware.

Changed my mind

Previously reviewed this foundation. Really didnt like it. But i think the colour was wrong. Since ive got a bit of a tan. Im loving it. It looks flawless. And lasts all day. Ive changed my mind. I really like it now…

Ok but not wow

Foundation coverage is light so don’t expect much of it. It is suitable for daily use and not gonna clog your pores. I have combination skin and it works fine with it. It gives glowy/ healthy effect. Nothing so special about it compared to the other better formulas in lancome. Recommended if you like glowy look. I don’t think it works for oily skin since it gives glowy look it could make the oily areas look more shiny.

Eu Natural

Lovely foundation that goes on ever so smooth and looks very natural. Lasts for hours on the skin so is perfect from day to night.

Its a no……

This is so thick. And hard to spread. Oxidises badly too. And no glow. Looks very flat and matte to me. . And smells. Its a no…..

Extremely disappointed

I have been unable to buy the shade of Teint Miracle that I was matched to by the Lancome Consultant (and loved) so I thought the Care and Glow sounded like a good alternative on my dry skin. Wrong. Instead of being fluid it was very thick and rather than “glow” it I looked like I’d applied a mask. After years of using another premium product I came so close to loving a Lancome foundation but not to be. Incidentally, the consultant on my local counter could not have been more helpful.
