The Wedding Silk Santal | 36 Eau de Parfum Intense

Beautiful for layering!

This was a blind buy for me, and I ended up loving it! I find myself reaching for it nearly every day, and I have a big collection! It’s so nice for layering as it adds a nice powdery sweetness. Kayali always hits the mark for me!

In LOVE with this perfume. Smells amazing. Doesn’t last super long though, but long enough. Many compliments though. Perfect for gourmand girlies wanting to dip their toes into other scent types.

Beautiful scent but I'm surprised at how poor the longevity of it is. It fades within an hour or two, for the price of it I would say it's not worth it.

Always compliments

This is probably one of a few perfumes I get compliments on and I have a pretty decent collection. The dry down is where I fell in love with it. It’s a toned down Vanilla 28. It was not love at first sniff. Give it a chance to dry down

One of the best kayali fragrances

I love silk Santal so much, love the bottle, I wish it came in 100ml, I will be buying more so I don’t run out

This smells AMAZING. Definitely one of my most favourite perfumes.

Had to return

I really wanted to love this perfume, the majority of the notes and feedback/reviews all lined up with a perfume that I would gravitate to. However, there is a note in this perfume that is very sharp and intense that hits the back of my throat for some reason. Because of this it actually nearly made me gag when I first tried it and gave me a crazy headache. Just turned out to be really not for me at all, I had to return it. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

Soft and Elegant

Silk Santal is absolutely delightful and easily ranks in my top 3 Kayali fragrances. It has all the qualities of a perfect signature scent, soft, non-offensive, and effortlessly elegant while still leaving the most beautiful, lingering trail.

Good but not unique!

Only giving this a 4 star because I expected something really unique. Smells almost identical to vanilla 28 on the dry down. I like the smell so I won’t return, but the main thing I like about it is how long is lasts on skin. I love kayali but one thing I notice is that the fragrances don’t always last. But this one last allll day! To the point where I may like it more than my vanilla 28 because they smell the same but this one last 10x longer.

Unexpected

This was a blind buy for me. It opened with a sparkling burst of champagne and juicy floral fruits that struck me as very unique and beautiful, but these notes faded within ten minutes to a soft, creamy musk with floral undertones that smells exactly like Flowerbomb after 4-5 hours of drydown. Why five stars? I actually love Flowerbomb's drydown and have been searching for a perfume that matches this profile (I don't have the patience to sit through the initial florals, which are lovely but irritate my sensitive nose). I wish the champagne and fruits lasted longer, but it's still 5 stars for me because I really have been looking for this fragrance and can see myself wearing it often -- I just didn't expect to find it with Wedding Silk Santal. Those of you who prefer strong projection or are looking for a more unique champagne fragrance will probably want to skip this one.

A stable for champagne lovers with a hint of vanilla and sandalwood ! We need a bigger bottle please !
