The L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream is such a luxurious cream. It is infused with shea butter, which leaves your skin feeling so nourished. It is a thicker cream, but it absorbs very quickly into the skin. It does leave a moisture barrier on the skin, without leaving an oily or tacky residue. My skin feels so soft and silky after each application, and it looks absolutely radiant. It has a lovely fresh floral scent, as it is also infused with jasmine and ylang-ylang. I really like that the container is an aluminum jar that is more eco-friendly and allows you to refill it - although, the insert seems to be plastic, so, I'm not sure how eco-friendly it really is. I also love that the label has braille on it, which could be very helpful to those with visual impairments.

So rich!
great brand when you live in Canada. The shea butter hand lotion was one of the first things that helped my hands in the winter (this was years ago!) I'm so excited to have been asked to test their body lotion. It's so nice and thick. It's easy to use it sparingly or add a body oil. I'll keep this for night times after those everything showers 😍

Great moisturizer!
L'Occitane's Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream is the perfect way to moisturize! My hands have been super dry with the constant changes in temperature from being outside in the cold and inside where it's hot. This cream is thick enough to provide a deep lasting hydration, but it doesn't leave a greasy sticky feeling. I wish it came with a little scoop though.

Perfect for these dry, cold winter months.
During the winter my skin gets really dry, and ashy all over but this cream has been my saviour! It's really rich and smooth which feels luxurious but a little goes a long way. The cream does absorb quickly and it doesn't feel tight after application. I highly recommend this cream if you have dry skin especially during these cold months!

I love the upgraded packaging. It has braille and is refillable. L'occitane offers recycling for it at their stores, so it's easy to get it recycled. The refills also fit into the tin so easily.

On the fence
I wanted to LOVE L’Occitane Body Cream but can only give it a like. It works great, two thumbs up for efficacy. Helps to nourish and moisturize parched, dry skin. Love that it’s vegan. Refillable. So many pluses. But I didn’t enjoy the scent. At all. Very grandmother- ish. I also found washing my hands afterward was necessary as it didn’t absorb into palms and fingertips and left a greasy feeling. Great for legs, arms, body though. Mixed feelings on this one. Thick but non-greasy winter solution
Winter skin struggles? Not this year! I’ve been using L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Balm and Ultra Rich Body Cream, and they’ve seriously saved my skin. The hand balm is thick in the best way—my hands feel super soft, but not greasy, even after washing them a million times.
Got these to try, and they’ve been amazing.

Healed my dry skin!
Once I saw shea butter, I knew it would be good for me. My skin is so dry and L’Occitane Ultra Rich Body Cream has repaired it. My legs used to be so flaky now the skin is shiny and glowing. The smell of this cream definitely puts the Rich in Ultra Rich as I got compliments.
