Mothership VII Eyeshadow Palette

Luxuriously beautiful

Such a beautiful and luxurious palette. Perfect for traveling because the colors are neutral yet you can create more elevated looks with the sparkly shadows. The shadows are incredibly pigmented and different!

My Favorite- Period

I know this palette is stupidly expensive; however, I absolutely love this palette. It is everything I personally need in a palette. It’s long lasting, it’s flattering, and there’s no wrong combination in this palette. This is one of those where it just makes me feel pretty. I normally wear a shimmery tear duct with an eyeshadow wing, and this palette works for that alongside any sort of more elaborate work I want to do. Honestly, this one palette sold me on any other Pat McGrath eyeshadow palette. My eyes or skin hasn't gotten aggravated using this palette. 10/10.

where have you been PAT !!

I wish I had tried this product sooner. I could have spent my money on this line. these shadows literally blend themselves. I own 2 of her palettes and cannot wait to get them all.

I have all the Motherships except the new one. And this one is my favorite. It's beautiful, romantic & sophisticated. There isn't a dud in the palette. It can go from a romantic natural, to glam.

Contains PTFE (teflon)

I first noticed it in my Mothership V Bronze palette, but on further review on all other Pat McGrath’s eyeshadows, the formula does contain PTFE (teflon). Many research have shown its adverse effect on human health and it bioaccumulates in our environment. It still has its industrial usage, but I am unsure how comfortable I am with using it on my face/ around my eye area. Please double check your other Pat McGrath palettes and use them wisely. I have since taped over shades that contains PTFE in my palette. (Bronze Blaze was taped over since it contained too much polyethylene for my liking, so have made the personal decision to never use this shade). Had I known before buying, I would have never purchased it. Given the strong popularity of the brand, I felt strongly compelled to share this to fellow beauty lovers. Take care!

Pigment

Pigment of dreams!! My favourite is the shade top right .. dual chrome finish .

First Pat McGrath palette, and it won't be the last! I'd always wanted one, so I finally did it.. and it's even more gorgeous in person. I find the mattes to be buildable, and the shimmers - omg! To LIVE for.

Splurge product, not necessary.

OK. So here’s the deal. This palette is AH-MAZING. The colors are phenomenal and they blend so well. They’re also highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. I am subtracting a star for two reasons. One, this doesn’t play well with eye primers. When I used with the urban decay eye primer, the eyeshadow peeled off within two hours. But used independently, they last longer. This isn’t really a “con” but is something to note. Second, I don’t honestly think it is worth the price point. I think that there are other product lines that can offer similar colors and quality for 1/4 (or less) of the price. If you’re looking for a splurge and to try something new, go for it! You won’t be disappointed.

mixed feelings PML

First time trying pat mcgrath. I was so excited. I have a pretty big makeup collection and thought ok it’s time to splurge on a PML. My go to has been Natasha denona. The reason why I give it 3 stars is because I only likes the foil and shimmers. The mattes don’t blend well. I don’t know why. I’ve tried it several times and each time they look smudgy and I’m like wtf and don’t like my makeup. So I use this pallet along with other mattes. But the case is super high quality and to be honest I would purchase another pallet just for the shimmers. They are so good!

This pallete looks so boring online but it's truly stunning in person. Its perfect for every day use love the quality.

my fav palette from pat! she absolutely killed it! the formula is amazing & so easy to blend & work with. the shimmer/glitter formula in her palettes elevates/transforms any of my eye looks!
