Returned it, wasn’t right for me
The product itself is lovely to look at, I chose the light pink version, and it seemed like a quality product, but I have returned it. I have curly/ wavy hair and it took a minimum 8 passes to get my hair straight-ish. Even with 10 passes in the wet to dry mode, then another few in the dry mode, plus blasting it with cold air, my hair still wasn’t sleek. For above shoulder length hair to take at least 60 minutes to dry and ‘straighten’ was not worth it for me as I can do it faster using a hairdryer and traditional straighteners. Whilst the hair was fine to wear to work, by the end of the day it had puffed out and was frizzy, much more so than it usually would. I tried it a few times, and watched a number of videos for advice to see if my technique would improve but it still didn’t work well for me. I am very happy there is the 45 day change of mind policy as I had saved up for this product. I was hopeful this product was going to be a game changer for me but it wasn’t to be.

Dyson, you have done it again! I am a lover of all things Dyson. The Dyson Airstrait is no exception. I have a Dyson Supersonic, Dyson Corrale and a Dyson Airwrap. The Dyson Airstrait is by far my favourite. With long, sometimes fuzzy hair, it becomes a core to wash it knowing how long it is going to take to dry and style it. This one machine has changed that. I am now no longer scared to wash it because I know that this one machine will dry and straighten my hair in no time. Thank you Dyson for another quality product!
