Good if you double cleanse

This one is a bit thicker than other cleansing balms. A little goes a long way. You have to double cleanse though to remove the residue feel. It does not rinse like the Wishful balm. But it's a lot of product and for the price point? Worth it...

Must have makeup remover!!

If you are looking for a good makeup remover but you are on a budget this is the one for you!! It is great at removing makeup and it leaves your face feeling great and clean.

Tips For Making This Work

Not exactly my favorite cleansing balm; however, for the price point, I found a way to make it work. Below are some suggestions in optimizing the use of this product: 1. Do NOT use on dry skin. - Press damp fingers onto face and neck. This product is a stiff balm and has an issue with spreadability. Dampness emulsifies the balm; thus, prevents unnecessary tugging at your face, especially around the delicate eye area. 2. Use approx. 1/2 tsp. of product for the entire face and neck. I find this amount to be generous enough to emulsify daily make-up. The only time I repeat this cleansing step is for those occasions that I wear heavy stage make-up. 3. Gently massage the emulsified cleanser onto area. Moisten a cotton pad with water to wipe away make-up. 4. Final step is to use your choice of face wash to get rid of the balm-makeup emulsion. I find that plain rinsing with water still leaves traces of the balm on the face and neck. 5. Extra tip for those with long fingernails :D - Use the backside to scrape the product to prevent the balm from getting underneath your nails.

decent value/not enjoyable

removed my makeup and sunscreen all summer but i didn’t look forward to using it due to vaseline-like texture. the balm is so thick that it pulls on your face and doesn’t melt. you really have to wash it off with another cleanser. good value for the quantity but not enjoyable to use.

Made me break out and felt like glue instead of a cleanser

Useless product!

This is waxy, barely emulsifies, and leaves a sort of film on the skin which is super annoying. Doesnt clean makeyp easily. I've gone back to Banila, and wasted almost the whole jar of rhis.

Not the Remover for everyone

Sorry to say it didn't remove all my makeup easy. it also was greasy.

Leaves greasiness behind

Purchased Sephora Collection Melting Cleansing Balm with Algae Extract. While it is reasonably priced, a clean product and does remove makeup and eye makeup thoroughly, it does not rinse off with water like other cleansing balms I’ve tried. You must use another facial cleanser to remove the greasiness after using this product if you have oily or normal skin. This product may be fine for dry skin if you desire a cleansing balm that leaves some greasiness behind.

I have very dry skin snd this world amazingly well...it's like butter so if you're prone to acne it may not be for you

Favourite Makeup Remover

Fantastic to remove makeup and sunscreen. Also love the size of the tub, its worth the price.

Not for mascara removal

I love Sephoras line but this product did not make the cut, I was expecting to melt away mascara and liner but it is alittle too thick of a product and doesn't get rid of mascara like other balms do. I loved the price point for a remover but it doesn't work!
