This has often been compared to Invictus, and while there are similarities, this one stands alone. It’s very different from the other Uomo fragrances and newer fragrances from the same house have done things better. This seems like a fragrance targeting younger guys.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. Valentino Uomo Born in Roma is versatile and could be used for day or evening. I like that this has a woody scent and is able to be used for multiple occasions. The packaging and the bottle are unique and add to this product's appeal. I would recommend this fragrance.

Slightly spicey and lightly woodsy

I got this for my boyfriend and he and I both really like it. It is slightly spicey and lightly woodsy. The fragrance was long lasting but not overpowering. The bottle looks great on the counter

Fresh, Clean, & Versatile Fragrance

This a fresh and clean type of smell that most guys can easily pull. The opening is pretty sweet but not too overpowering and it tones down into the drydown, ending on a woody and slightly earthy base. It projects pretty strong and has decent longevity. It's a very versatile fragrance that can be worn throughout most of the year. I think it's best suited for younger guys, but could also see mature men pulling it off. My only knock is that it's not very unique smelling but it's a solid option to spray on for many different situations.

Fresh citrus

I got this to try for my honest review from influenster and the might be the best cologne I have ever tried! Fresh and citrusy with hints of sage it’s a very refreshing scent that grows milder but the sage really comes out as you wear it. Over I truly love this and can see myself using it daily or at least in the rotation. I would highly recommend this and definitely plan to purchase for myself again and/or as a gift!

Amazing Cologne

I recently got the Valentino's Uomo Born in Roma Eau de Toilette cologne for free to sample and it's quickly become a favorite. The bottle itself is aesthetically pleasing, and the textured grip makes it easy to hold/use without fear of it slipping in your hand. The actual scent is really nice, with with a woody aromatic scent, and a nice touch of ginger, sage and smoked vetiver. Honestly, a really good choice as a gift or a purchase for oneself and I think it stands up to other expensive colognes from other popular brands.
